This striking formation of lava arches and turquoise pools sits south of Puerto Villamil. It ranks among the top snorkeling sites in the islands, with clear channels winding beneath the lava bridges

This somber, historic site was built by prison labor in the mid-20th century. Cycling the route offers a closer, slower look at the island’s wildlife than a vehicle transfer would.
In the afternoon, the group paddles by kayak to Las Tintoreras. This small islet takes its name from the white-tipped reef sharks resting in its shallow marine channel.
Schedule / Navigation: Bike tour ~10 km, ~2–2.5 hrs, moderate effort · Tintoreras navigation ~30 min · kayaking ~1.5–2 hrs

The group uses that time for a conservation visit at a local school. There, guests meet students and join an environmental-education activity. As a result, everyone learns firsthand about the community’s role in protecting the islands.
